Bertine Lahuis

Bertine Lahuis is the Chair of the Executive Board at Radboudumc. She aims for Radboudumc to lead the way in shaping the healthcare of the future, in part by building a strong network in healthcare, education, and research alongside partners.

How do we achieve a healthy and sustainable life in Lifeport? “We are tackling a major societal challenge, which requires a shared ambition and the collective efforts of businesses, governments, and knowledge institutions. Campuses, tech hotspots, and research institutions act as incubators where meetings happen, new ideas emerge, and collaborations are born. These networks and incubators serve as magnets, attracting people and businesses. This creates a self-reinforcing effect, contributing to a healthier Gelderland region.”
